Our Story

Sports Physiotherapy South opened in the Sutherland Shire in 1995 and is one of the longest standing practices still under original ownership. Our Caringbah physiotherapy practice is comprised of experienced Sports Physiotherapists who are well known for their excellent results. Our longevity is due to our fantastic service, and caring for all our patients as though they were family. We pride ourselves on ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of specialised physiotherapy care in a friendly and relaxed environment, all available in our clinic located in the southside of Sydney.We are experts in a variety of different physiotherapy specialties, and are highly competent in treating patients of all ages, with all types of musculoskeletal problems.

One on one service

We give each patient our undivided attention by treating one person at a time and by providing generous consultation times.

We use hands-on treatment utilising a wide variety of manual techniques including massage, joint mobilisation and manipulative therapy. Our aim is to help our patients become pain-free and mobile in the shortest possible time. Sports Physio South conducts regular in-house training, and supports ongoing external continuing education for all our physiotherapists. We specialise in complex conditions

Our practice is renowned throughout the southside of Sydney for specialising in complex presentations which require an expert understanding of anatomy and biomechanics.

We treat most musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck pain, ankle, knee, hip and shoulder conditions, as well as providing pre operative and post operative surgical rehabilitation. Glenn Colaco has been ‘making the best better’ for nearly 30 years. A highly experienced sports
physiotherapist with a Post Graduate Degree in Sports Physiotherapy.
He was one of the first physiotherapists in Australia awarded the prestigious APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist qualification.
Glenn heads the team at Sports Physio South, and has worked in the Sutherland Shire for over 25 years.

Jan Colaco has nearly 30 years of extensive experience in spinal manual therapy including manipulative therapy, rehabilitation and the management of chronic pain using evidence based treatments.
Jan is passionate about helping her patients of all ages achieve their goals – whether it is to get back to the sporting field or workplace, or to remain living independently at home.


Michael PAULKA

Michael Paulka is a Doctor of Physiotherapy and a Clinical Myotherapist. He has over seven years experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of muscle and joint ailments, and movement disorders. Michael is qualified to perform neuromuscular dry needling.
Aa a competitive swimmer for many years, sport and exercise have always been a big part of Michael’s life.



Kylie-Anne Cosentino has worked as a Physiotherapist, accredited Exercise Physiologist, and as a Clinical Rehabilitation Consultant fulfilling health, exercise and fitness roles for over fifteen years. She believes strongly in the benefit of exercise prescription as a form of rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Kylie-Anne was a professional dancer for many years, and has expertise in dance injuries and biomechanics.
