Michael Paulka is a qualified Doctor of Physiotherapy, and also a Clinical Myotherapist. He has over seven years experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of muscle and joint ailments, and movement disorders. Michael is qualified to perform neuromuscular dry needling.
As a competitive swimmer for many years, sport and exercise have always been a big part of Michael’s life.
Michael Paulka has a unique understanding of the training volume and loads that aquatic athletes undergo. This has developed into a keen interest in swimming injuries, biomechanics and load management, and as such Michael is well placed to assess & treat any of our water loving clients.
Michael has worked with a number of sporting teams, providing injury management and rehabilitation for Swim Clubs, GWS Giants AFL, Sydney Kings Basketball, and Rugby Union teams.
After a thorough assessment, Michael places great importance in discussing the probable cause of a problem with his patients and applying the appropriate treatment. He applies this approach to aid recovery from conditions ranging from back pain to sporting injuries, for patients of all ages. Michael is able to take clients through their complete rehabilitation journey.
When not in the clinic Michael can usually be found in the pool or in the gym.
