OUR SERVICES

What makes us different?

With more than 25 years of high level experience our physiotherapists have the advanced knowledge and clinical expertise to get you the best possible results. Physiotherapy can help you if you have a problem with pain or movement. No matter what is troubling you Sports Physio South will have seen it before and will know the most effective treatments.

All Australians can benefit from physiotherapy at some point in their lives. It is well-known that physiotherapists treat injuries, now increasing numbers of Australians are also coming to physiotherapists when they want to take control of their health and stay well. Virtually any condition that affects your muscles, joints, or nerves can be helped by physiotherapy, whatever your injury, whether you are young or old.

Sports Physiotherapy South has some of the most recognised, highly qualified, experienced, and respected physiotherapists in Sydney. All our physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, are Workcover (SIRA) accredited and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).

All our physios have advanced knowledge in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the human body, they are highly educated experts in physical function, movement, and mobility. Your experienced physiotherapist will use a variety of advanced physical techniques and evidence based care to confidently assess, diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions arising from your muscles, joints or nerves.

Physiotherapy helps repair damage to speed up your healing process, it will reduce your stiffness and pain, increase your mobility and help improve your quality of life. Biomechanical analysis, specialised hands-on manual therapy treatment including spinal manipulation, and personalised exercise based rehabilitation programs are a specialty at this clinic. Whether you have a specific injury, or you are experiencing pain or discomfort from general wear and tear, our physiotherapists will take the time to diagnose the problem and prescribe a course of action to get you moving again. Your treatment plan will take into account your lifestyle, activities and general health.

Our role in physiotherapy extends from health promotion to injury prevention, acute care, orthopaedic rehabilitation, maintenance of functional mobility, chronic disease management, patient and carer education and occupational health. Our physiotherapists have extensive experience with athletes from numerous sports, as well as with clients who have a wide variety of musculoskeletal and developmental conditions. Our Caringbah practice has been established in the Sutherland Shire since 1995, and during that time we have been working closely with local doctors and specialists, to ensure a coordinated approach to your recovery. There is no injury too big, too small or too complicated, and while many of our patients are athletes, we apply the same high quality assessment, patient care and benefits of our practice expertise to all of our patients to "get you back in the game". We work in partnership with our patients to help people get better and stay well.
